Match Report: From the Irish Times (Thanks to Steve Bell for Report and teams etc)

"David O'Leary and Brian Deane played their first games for Leeds United before 6,000 spectators at Turner's Cross last night. And both newcomers impressed although Leeds outscored the League of Ireland Champions in an entertaining match."

"Leeds led by two goals at half-time after Gary Speed and David Rocastle had scored. Leeds third goal came twenty minutes from the end from second-half substitute Carl Shutt."
